I finally got around to playing Chuck's tab for Ave Maria in the June issue of the PSGA newsletter and I'd like to thank him for this excellent work.
What a great song to tab out for steel and Chuck uses some nice sus4 string combo's that I wouldn't have thought of.
This is quite a nice use of some of the lesser used string and pedal combinations for E9.
Thanks Chuck and thanks PSGA for the tab!

Hello Tony,
I'm glad that you are enjoying my arrangement of "Ave Maria." My friend, Wayne Yakes, suggested that I work it up a few years ago. Hal Rugg gave me my favorite compliment. After I performed the song at last year's PSGA Steel Show, Hal greeted me off-stage and mentioned that the song really plays out well on the E9th tuning. That was music to my ears! I enjoy writing articles and arrangements for the PSGA Newsletter. It is a great organization and a friend to the steel guitar community.
