Just recieved both Laney Tribute to Connie and Russ's Two Mile pike CD's and they are
superb in every sense. Everyone who has heard Laney sing, knows what a fabulous
singer she is and Russ's CD knocked my socks off. Listen to him play "Soft Rain"
with dry eyes if you can. Heart wrenching
is the best description that comes to mind.
If you don't have these two CD's by all means get and enjoy some truly fine sounds.
Regards TJH

They were a pleasure to hear in St. L.
Most families never are blessed with this much talent.
PS. Laney I have a song coming along for you
"It's Just A Story We tell" ( on St. L. escalators)
All the words are down, and I have been listening to Connie for a few cues on arrangment etc.
But I have no time at the moment to finish it right, to many sessions etc.. |

Russ's Two Mile Pike CD is great!!!
I think he has the best version of
Pan Handle Rag that I ever heard.
Nashville Nectar is good too.
He and Laney compliment each other
very nicely.

One of my favorites off of Two Mile Pike is High Noon.

I have several of their CDS, and if you don't YOU ARE MISSING OUT!! What great music, and two wonderful people to go along with it. An unbeatable combination. They are great.
