Listened to the Urban Cowboy soundtrack for the first time in a long time yesterday - anyone know who played the steel on the Bonnie Raitt tracks (Don't It Make You Wanna Dance and Darling)?
And no, it's not Bonnie playing bottleneck

Do you have the actual "lp"?
If so, it should be listed on the sleeve.
Can't seem to find my copy, but whoever
does have it can tell you.
Wild guess for the Bonnie Raitt stuff
would be Jay Leach....but I've been wrong before.

Thanks a lot.
I have the cassette tape, and the musicians aren't listed on the insert.I checked out Jay Leach's website, and while it doesn't specify those tracks, it does state that he worked on the Urban Cowboy soundtrack, and also that he worked with Bonnie Raitt.
