For putting together the Convention this year. The greatest players in the world! And for those of us who couldn't be there, and whose internet connections were poor, if only there could be a video or CD of the highlights....? |

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Scotty and his family for making perhaps the largest single contribution toward the future of steel guitar. Didn't make it this year, was there last year, but I did listen to it on the computer. Great Show! Do you have a video copy of the interview you did several years ago with your local female television hostest wherein you took the audience on a walk thro' of your fine convention? Lot's of Forumites would thrill at that, I'm sure. |

I'm still reeling from the great show -- the best ever in my opinion, but maybe it's just me. |

How can I thank Scotty enough? I'm fortunate enough to live here in St. Louis, just minutes from Scotty's. I can tell you that this man's integrity and love of steel guitar music is unsurpassed. He is largely responsible for the existence of this community as we know it, and were it not for him, we may have never experienced this fellowship that so many of us cherish. A truly humble and giving man, not to mention a wonderful musician.
Thanks Scotty!

Scotty - we posted our thank you under the Sarah Jory topic (the one started by Terry Edwards - Sept.1). I'm sure others have obscure thank-you messages within other posts since St. Louis.
But for an abbreviated version: thank you, THANK YOU, thank you again!!!!!!

Scotty,
Been coming to your convention for over 30 years and this one had to be the BEST. The sound was the finest, the lineup, everything
was tops. Thanks to you and your family for another great convention.

Even though I couldn't be there this year,(I will next) I'm very thankful that we, as steel players, have such a great convention to attend. Seeing fellow players, seeing products and having fellow steel players to laugh with, party and talk with, is such a wonderful aspect to our great instrument.
Yes, Scotty is someone we all should be very appreciative of.
Heres my big THANK YOU Scotty! THANK YOU! I feel every steel player in the world appreciates every thing youv'e done for us!
