I have heard this man play a few times, but what can I say except "WOW" he just keeps getting better with age. "LIKE A FINE WINE"!!
His version of "Just Between you and Me" , I don't know how many caught this, but listen to the ending of the song on the "Live at Panther Hall" album again and you will see what I mean<<< he did it the same way for everyone on Friday and Saturday.
"AH LLOYD!!!!"
I was also glad to hear and old tune "Three Picks" off the Moody River album on Chart. That really made the crowd go nuts.
But the one tune that really made folks take a listen was when he did the new song he is playing with Alan Jackson "Remember When".There wasn't a dry eye in the place, WHAT EMOTION, went into that song.
What can I say except "MR. NASHVILLE SOUND" is back and back to stay!!!!!!!
Congrats also to Lloyd on the release of his new CD, which was the hit of the convention. If you were not lucky enough to get one there,or you just could not be there, you can get it at www.lloydgreenmusic.com
IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to agree, it is one great CD! I would like to purchase another CD and have Lloyd sign it for a friend who is in the hospital prior to shipping. How can I get Lloyd to do that? |

I got my copy of the CD yesterday and it
has some of the most exquisite and tasteful
steel playing I`ve heard for decades.
Especially "So Sad" is a beautiful work of art. The sound of that steel just blows
you away. |

Hey Red: Let me add it was nice meeting you with Will Pickit in the Lobby, then hearing you sing "Just between you and me"in Falawka room on your set with Ricky Davis who also exibited his great playing. It was tough sharing a room with will and Smiley but being at the best ever Convention made it all worth while. Best of luck with your new recordings.
