I was at a session today that Mike played on...Mike and his Franklin sounded excellent!!!

Larry,

Wow, it would be neat to watch/listen to Mike at a session. His work on Daryle Singetary's CD is really something. I know we will be hearing a lot more from Mike. Thanks for sharing with us.

I just saw his Franklin D-10, I really didn't pay attention to his amp.

Last time I was in Nashville, Mike Johnson invited me to watch him at a session. I didn't get his invite until the next day!!!!!!!!

As far as I'm concerned Mike Johnson is THE hot player in the studio now. His playing is full of tone and innovative licks. Listen to Brad Paisley's first two CD's and you'll see what I mean especially his unique break on "Munster Breakdown" as well as anything else he lays a bar to.
