Pat,,,now it all comes out...you lived in Milford and Dingmans Ferry,,,,I knew there was something weird about you.
I guess you know the deal,,,I will meet you sometime and buy you a "milk shake" at Mc Donalds if you would like,,,,I have the special,,,,,"Buy One Get One FREE,,,I'll pay for one and give you the "freebie" keep in touch,,,but be careful who and what you touch
when you are in Milford,,,they "can make a "big thing" out of nothing here....AT & T has a motto it's "reach out and touch someone"
I think they all have AT&T here,,,careful now

Dave, You would'nt have to shave your legs if you had some dingle balls hangin across the front of your guitar
By the way, where can I get a set of those dingle balls?, and do they make them to fit on Sho-Bud Guitars?, I want to put some on Gordy's Steel some night at break when he's not looking. |

I wear long-sleeve shirts, jeans or casual pants, and soft-flexible shoes, like Hush-Puppeis, or the Dr. Scholl's footwear. Something kinda between a dress shoe and loafer. |

Blane,
I'm not sure where to find the "dingle-balls" but fringe should be easier to find!
By the way, "Nair" may be a better choice to keep down on the rash, I'll have to check with Herb and see what he is doing these days.
Oh, by the way I sent Gordie a video tape, be sure and ask him about it. He should get it in a few days.

I've been wearing SCUBA flippers lately. They are designed for bare feet and don't seem to snag my hose like the cowboy boots did.
Would a female player have to wear a strap-on to use a Johnson lever?

I'm glad somebody brought this up. I was practicing with whatever was on my feet at the time and I was amazed at how screwed up impossible it was to feel the pedals in my $14 Wal Mart sneakers (wide, stiff soles). Yet my old Nike's weren't a problem. The shoes can make a difference. Especially when you're trying to push the C pedal and go left knee lever left at the same time. (And don't ask me why I was trying to do this...)
I can't imagine playing in boots, my ankles resist twisting the way it is already without more stuff in the way.
Ballerina slippers (or whatever they're called), that's it. My 12 yr old daughter wants a pair, now I know how I can sneak a try.... (just gotta avoid the wife...)

Sock feet here. It's the only way I can do it - my feet/shoes are too big.

Bare Feet Here.
Its the only way I can fit under my steel. Even with a 2" extension!

Boy, I'm sure glad that none of you guys said 'high heels'.
I wear thin leather sole boots. |

I've been wearing Florsheim Comfortech thin-soled loafers. I have two pair, black and brown. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever found for playing pedal steel, and they look good, too.
