Picked up the CD Tuesday. I got the last copy in the store. Listened to it off and on during the session, and everyone was impressed. If I can get this mix put to bed here shortly, I may try to get over to Boulder, where he is playing in just about two hours...

Richard, I see his CDs in the Pop/Rock section of Tower Records, and I'm sure it's available in just about any CD store near you. He's had enough of a following among the "jam band" fans that even his other CDs (such as The Word) are available locally.

I just went to town and bought it at Tower for $12.95
I listened to it all the way home, I live about an hour from Tower Records, and I like it.
I've heard better songs, I've heard better playing, and better singing, but the over package is very good and full of passion. I liked the song he plays dobro on but then after a while the whole "playing the melody while the singer sings the melody" gets a little old.
I do like that he's trying to take the steel in a different direction, although others have tried before, and he's is having success with it(when was the last time you saw a steel player as the featured act on a network talk show). |

| I think it's great that RR is becoming well known. I need to hear more stuff by him, all I've heard is live jam band like songs. I am a guitar player first and it sounded like guitar lead to me, sorry. What ever he is doing is working for him and more power to him for that. Give me Buck Owens or give me death. |
