We played outside this afternoon in a county that is dryer than the Sahara Desert, 97 degree heat with an index of 103 and no air stirring. This is what a melting steel player looks like.

I brought in some reinforcement. It was weak but it was the best I could find on short notice!

He was doing great until someone tried to run him up the flagpole! They finally realized that he truly is a "flag Pole"!

Mike! Thanks for letting us view the "New Smiley Roberts". Smiley told me he has been working out(lifting 16 ounce beer cans)and his swelling arms show the effort. That high protien diet of his is working.Nachos and kielbasaTacos with refried beans. I did notice no one is directly behind him. Must have been a blast of a 4th.

looks like a bunch of geezers, 'specially the dude in the Flag shirt...

After a lunch of kielbasa nachos and beans, I would have stood clear of him too!!!

I played the 4th and shoulda' drank a 5th instead. 104 in the shade out here, and not a tree in sight...Playing off the back of a 40 foot low boy semitrailer, somehow just ain't my idea of fun...Fireworks personified!!
