Anyone know who plays steel on Jimmy Dickens' "I'm Little But I'm Loud"?
Thanks,
Mel |

If it's the album that came out in '69 on C6, it's Chalker. |

I don't know which version is on that website, but in the discography of BF box set, under the original -51 version the steel player is listed as "unknown". |

I have a version of that with Curly Chaulker playing steel, in fact he is on the entire album I think it was in the late 70's. I don't know who played on the earlier version. |

Mel The album is called Jimmy Dickens Greatest Hits. It has a lot of Curly on it. It is one great album with songs like Out Behing The Barn, When Your 17, Waitress Waitress, Take Me As I Am. It is a Decca album #DL75133 [This message was edited by Dan Dowd on 21 June 2003 at 08:59 AM.] |
