Ok...here's a question...I know Lloyd is from TX but doesn he reside in TN these days? Just curious... someone claiming to be Lloyd Maines left posting on our bands website & it was signed from Nashville, TN. Just curious...it would be exciting but I thought one of my friends was just jerkin' me around, knowing how much of an inspiration Lloyd is to my learning PSG.
The posting said..."great sound...steel player needs work though..." ouch! What a buzz kill..

sounds like someone is pulling your leg...
I doubt he'd say something as tactless as your quote...

Well... I got a reply....this time w/ an email address... it said that he meant nothing by his comment & to practice hard...? dunno... I'll send a message to the yahoo address & see. Either way...no harm done... I'd like to take my playing to the next level... I'll consider it a motivator.

thanks guys..
Happy Easter!

Mark, I wouldn't waste my time answering that imposter...that comment doesn't sound like something Lloyd would say.
