Well ... close enough

Quote:
A couple of Technicolor young ladies harmonizing sweetly and strumming along on uke and guitar, a gregarious bass player, and this quiet fellow who plays the most beautiful steel guitar you're ever likely to hear.

Big Times

Mike and Miss Bliss wrote all new stuff for the play ... and The Moonlighters will be performing live at all the shows ...

Cool!

Well, if Mike's not on Broadway, then who's playing it? ...the walnut-bodied Epiphone that is...

"...they say the neon lights are bright off Broadway"

Congrats to Mike and the Moonlighters!

Mike, now that you are big in NYC can you fix a parking ticket for me?

I'll be there and I'm attempting to gather a group of friends to attend.

So far we've had Jeff Au Hoy at Carnegie Hall and now Mike on off (actually off off Broadway) Broadway. Very nice to see these events take place.

Gerald, for your pleasure, I will do a re-enactment of Big Times at Joliet covering all of the actors and The Moonlighters.

Actually I've already seen Mike on Broadway. Broadway and 27th St trying to hail a cab after a Rodeo Bar gig.....

Say, do they need a vaudeville comic in this play?

Howard's right--it is Off-Off Broadway, but it is still very cool. The entire set is like a Vaudeville stage and the band is elevated above the stage, and we're featured quite a bit. (Lots of hats, Howard) http://www.wetweb.org/

We wrote all new songs for this show, with the exception of the main theme, which is asong Bliss and I wrote a year ago. I'm proud of the music we wrote, as I think it serves the show extremely well and can stand on its own, as well. Some of the numbers are novelty numbers. This is a great opportunity for me to feel like Roy Smeck.

I can invite some friends to the previews--if anyone wants to attend Saturday, 6/11 or Wed-Thurs, 6/15-16, give me a shout and I'll try to hook you up. The show officially opens 6/18, and from that point on the best I can do is a discount ticket.

Right On, Mike. Congrats.

You MUST ( ) get a small non-airconditioned room nearby with a flashing neon sign outside the window! When not entertaining, ...lay back with the window open and take it all in ....you lucky dog!

Aloha,
DT~
