Rusty:
Tell Tommy to leave out the "invite" only gigs next time he sends out an email. Wife and I were sorry to have missed you playing the Legion that Saturday night.

I never saw such a big smile on Jimmy Day's face.
God rest his soul.
I agree with all. Donna is a consummate professional with wonderful tone and chops.

Donna Hammit did a great job on the opry Sat. night and so pretty. Heard she just got married, what a lucky guy. Tommy was great as always. Both are great players. |

I think she just got married to the bass player in Rhonda Vincent's band. Last year when I saw Rhonda and the Rage she said the bass player was getting married to Bill Anderson's Steel player. |

Hey gang! Thanks for talking good about me! The steel I had on the Opry is my older Franklin. I got it in 1983...I was 11...go ahead add it up. It's still a great old guitar.
And yes, I did just get married. His name is Kent Blanton. He was previously with Rhonda, but is now with Jesse McReynolds and the Virginia Boys. We got married here in Nashville on Dec. 15th...And yes, I did play steel at the reception IN the wedding dress...quite a site.

Donna,
Congrats on your marriage. It's great that you are both musicians, you will understand this uncontrollable, burning desire to spend every penny we make on some piece of equipment!
Best of luck and Best wishes. Most of all May God Bless.
