I just bought an old Wynn Stewart record - I forget the name (something like Its a Beautiful World?). I'm guessing its probably early to mid 60's. Does anyone know who might have played steel on this album? |

Probably Ralph Mooney.
Not 100% sure when he was with Wynn, but that'd be my first guess.

Hmmm, I think you mean "It's such a pretty world today". Yep, Mooney was on that album, but by some odd twist of fate, he didn't play on that song which was Wynn's biggest hit. I forget the name of the guy that did, but he sure played a part that fit the song to a T. Hope you enjoy the album, it's a good one. |
