"God works in mysterious ways", ..no, don't get worried, this is not a sermon wrapped up in an E string! A while ago there was a computer/net virus that spread around to a lot of the steel players. The result was that e mail was sent and appeared to come from someone known to the steel community. The e mail was "not too nice". Ronnie Miller got one with my name on it. We knew of each other via the forum, but not personally.

Some folk say, "get even"; Some say, get revenge; Ronnie says, "kill them with kindness"!

His "kill them with kindness" consisted of an invitation to the C.Pride show in Phoenix, and a day with the band, ..sound check, backstage and all. That turned out to be GREAT as I had not done that type of thing for a long time.

Because of the Computer virus and "Ronnie's revenge" I got to meet some fine folk and have a good time to boot! Besides being a mighty fine steel player, Ronnie is a super chap; If he is playing near you get with him and talk shop as it seems that he likes to do that.

My thanks to Ronnie, C.Pride, the band, and John the manager for the fun time.

It does not end there, as the band is the same folk that will be backing up M.A. at the Dallas steel convention, so I will be seeing them there; Can't wait as those chaps turn out some fine music, ..too much talent in one spot!

I certainly agree with you about Ronnie, and it's nice to hear that they will be at the Dallas show again, but who is "M.A."?

I didn't think about Reece, as in the past he's always had his own band, thanks. I was looking forward to seeing and hearing Ronnie again, do you happen to know why he won't be there?
