Donna Jackson called me yesterday and said the HOF told her they were putting Shot's dobro on display again. About time. Let's get in touch with the HOF and tell them to leave it on display this time! Terry

That's great news, Terry! I suggest instead that we call the HOF and THANK them for doing this. Who knows, they may be responding, at least in part, to the concern expressed by the steel community about the instrument. IMHO, this wouldn't be an appropriate time to get "in their face" about keeping it on display forever. I suggest that, for now, we just say 'thank you' and that we appreciate it very much.

Excellent! - thanks again to all who made this happen, esp. Jimbeaux, (...er Jim-Bud, er Jim-Bro

Somewhere I have a VHS with the little news story they did about this on the old TNN that I need to try and locate, digitize and put up on the Sho-Bud site.
