Wasn't Tommy playing a new MSA guitar on the Opry tonight? It sounded great! Of course Tommy could play an old Fender 400 and sound great! I only have one complaint though! They should set up one camera feed to just show Tommy all the time - ya know - like the new NASCAR cameras work in the cars. You could pick his camera feed to watch all the time!! He needs to be featured more! His wife told me at the Convention that he is thinking of doing a tape with John Hughey. Where do I send the money? My Lloyd Green -Tommy White tape is about wore out already!

Tommy was playing his newest Carter with black aprons and red top. It has some 5 way pickup on it that only he can explain. He always sounds great on whatever he plays.

I'm getting old and blind ya know, so I'm sorry for the confusion! I knew it wasn't his white Carter and I couldn't get a closeup of the logo. I just thought it maybe was a new MSA! Sorry!

Roger,

It's not your fault. I was switching between shows and a few times when I switched back I could hear some great steel playing but they were showing video of the piano player(who was running that camera ??). On One occasion I could clearly see the Carter with logo as per the other post.

Bob,you better be real careful. Tommy's wife Teresa is one of the camera people at the Opry.

More than likely they won't let her turn it into the Tommy White Show even though we all wish they would.

Often times when a super pro takes delivery of a new brand of guitar, one is not sufficient as to the needs of multiple locations of performing. When there is a reoccuring tv gig, one may be left on the set, one at home setup the same for practice and one in the vehicle for studio sessions. Usually they're a mix of colors and the artist may from time to time switch them around for variety. This makes for a great advertisement showing different color options. We witnessed this on several past TNN shows, (God rest their souls).
