As you know the AMP SHOW had a steel guitar area clustered together in a row. I did not get a chance to spend much time there, because I was producing the event. I heard those forumites that did attend had a blast though. In Asher's room a jam was happening at one point. With Greg Leisz and? I know CruzTone and Harmos who shared and baby sat (thanks James) my Lapdancer products, were busy most of the day! I also displayed my Sierra in the Lapdancer/Harmos room.
Let me state the James Baeker and Colin Alder were great to meet and work with in shareing resources and together with Billy Asher and James Demeter (amps) made for a solid showing of the potential of the lap steel's growth in the 'secular' guitar world. Thanks for making the area a success guys!
I only wish I could have been there!

Thanks to Loni for putting on a cool show. It was great to meet all of the nice folks and bang away on there guitars. The thing that impressed me was how the builders each had unique visions and designs, but all turned out quality stuff, that would work for many. I think all of the guitars I played stand on their own merits--the Cruztone, Lapdancer, Harmos, Asher. Again, they are all quite different from each other, and would appeal to different tastes. I almost came home with a much lighter wallet, but was able to resist!
Thanks again!
Dana
