Hey all,
I'm trying to figure out the solo and licks on Blackberry Boogue and Shotgun Boogie. Blackberry Boogie sounds like a 9th tuning - I hear the 7th and 9th in some of the full chords, but there's an open-to-1st-fret bar slam (or trill if you like) which makes it sound like an Eb9 tuning to get the Eb to E trill (the track is in E ish). Any ideas? I think this is before his pedal days...
Shotgun Boogie sounds like a 6th tuning, but any further thoughts would be welcome!

I always thought that Speedy was strictly an A6th Man.

When I've played Blackberry Boogie I use E13(McAuliffe). The solo lays out just right with that tuning.
