I am working 60+ hours a week as a float nurse right now
If I was working that many hours (and not sitting at a computer while doing it ) I wouldn't be on here very often either.

I guess Smileys not doing so well ,"He's taken a turn for the Nurse". Jim there is 168 hours in any given week. That means Jeanne has over a Hundred to enjoy spending the Money. Why is she working 60 Hours? Is she paying alimony to Bobbe?

Jeannie has no internet access except at the hospitial she is doing duty at on a particular night. She has not seen any of these positive comments yet and may not get to for a while. She called me at 7:30 am this morning to ask if anyone had posted anything to her post. I then relayed everyones comments. She was very impressed with all you guys and she realizes she really has some great friends in this steel guitar world. She is working very hard in a rough profession and is dedicating her life to save others lives. I am very proud to have been a part of hers. I think most of you guys are too! We both thank you all.

P.S. I think I'll print all this out and take it to her, She can frame it!

Frank, You're right I divorced Bobbe not the steel guitar community. I have avoided the forum because I did not want to create any controversy.

I am so glad I posted. Just had a chance to get on the internet for the first time since my posting.

You guys made my night -- I thought ya'll would have forgotten about me by now.

Who knows -- maybe I can go to one of the upcoming steel guitar shows. When and where are some close to Nashville?

Steel guitar players are definitely a unique and wonderful group of people. I am so glad that I got to be a part of your special community.

Jeannie,

As you can see, you have a lot of fans in the steel guitar community and it's great to hear from you.

Sorry to hear that you are working such long hours, you must be exhausted.

Also sorry to hear that you have been taken advantage of in such a bizarre manner.

It's really wierd that a supposedly reputable company would stoop to such a childish level. But, given the "spokesman" they've employed on another forum, reasonable minded individuals will reach the obvious conclusion. I think a large number of players find this extremely distasteful. You should definitely be compensated for the unauthorized use of your image.

Best wishes to you, Jeannie.

Regards,
HH

This really isn't about "Steel Guitarists and Their Music", the stated theme for this section of the Forum. I'm moving it to the "Our Extended Family", since Jeannie is definitely a part of the steel community.

It looks to me like the original matter is resolved. May I close the topic altogether, Jeannie?
