what is the difference in strings?

can I use "pedal strings" on my non-pedal?

or would I be better off going to the single string bin and picking my guages from that?

I haven't ordered any strings online like I should have done and I need a "quick-fix" to have some back up strings for tonight.

In a pinch I have bought a pedal steel set (C6th) and just used the eight I need.

There are several people selling some great strings including our own forum guru b0b.

Check the gauges before you buy. Some sets are heavier than others.
