'twas listening to Moe Bandy GH's, and "Rodeo Clown" is my favorite. In some ways, it kinda represents (to me, anyway)the Nashville sound, at it's peak. It sounds mostly Lloyd"ish", but it has a Petey element in there, too. Plus, (at least on this particular cut of the compilation), it has a, somewhat, "nasally" midrangey, kinda tone. Can anyone settle my inner debate?

P.S. the tone thing aint no criticism, just that it's sorta different - I always thought they did some similar eq'ing on some of McCartneys' Beatle vocals, too.

I think Weldon Myrick did most of their sessions.

Not to derail the train of thought here, but...

Does anyone know a steeler, last name Grinnan (probably from TX), who played with Moe Bandy years ago? And how to get in touch with him?
