I've developed a small chip near the nose of the bar on my black Phoenix. Actually, the coating has chipped, not the bar itself. I can still use it, but I fear if the chip gets bigger, it might become a problem. Anyone have a solution for this?

The chip on the nose WILL get bigger, I guarantee you that. And it will affect your tone. You will get a clicking sound when the bar alternates between the bare and coated area.

Psychologically you will always know that bare area exists, even if you rotate the bar to avoid it. The chipped area will haunt your every waking hour.

Is all this worth it? I don't think so. Contact Chuck Brattain about replacing the bar. He will do it for the cost of shipping.
