Has anybody tried the "Norton" Styles for BIAB... The demo's sound real good. I think they are real expensive. But maybe they are worth it.. Any user's ?

What is the connection between Norton and PG Music they seem to be hand in hand. I had about decided they were one and the same.

In checking out the site mentioned in Bill Llewellyn's thread, I joined the Band in a Box File sharing group(BIABFSG). Bob "Notes" Norton, the moderator has a site offering Styles that are not part of the package when you buy BIAB. There is also another artist developing Styles (can't recall his name)... They talk about the quality of their styles and created midi files to demonstrate the quality... I was hoping to find someone who has used them.. They are kind of expensive depending on your point of view...

I have most all of Norton's styles. They are usefull, to say the lest. Some are better than others, depending on your taste and what songs your building. His #keylargo style is a real winner for songs like Spanish Eyes, Neon Moon, and others that have a latin feel. But I find the best use in modifing them a little by mixing them with PG styles, importing one instrument from one style to another.

BIAB files with an Ed Norton approach?

Does this mean that each file starts off with a few rousing bars of "Swaniee River"?

Regards,
HH
