Other than a couple of tapes from lessons in the 70s, I don't have anything else. I'm not aware of Mike releasing any instrumental stuff other than 'Dreams of India'. He is on the Forum from time to time (cleverly disguised as 'Miguel e Smith'). Hopefully he'll comment.

Wow! A question for Miguel. There was another project around the early 80's, very lack-luster as it was my first attempt at doing it all myself. I certainly don't recommend it.
Ironic you should inquire now because I've just been approached by John Macy about doing something new and I'm working on it now. I'll default to John for more info. |

Wasn't it a cassette album? I'd have to look for it, but I think it's the same one. I don't remember it being "lack-luster" at all. Give yourself some credit for being "creative".

I really wasn't trying to slam the ideas for that project (it was a cassette only project entitled "One Way"), just the overall quality. This was what, 20 years ago, and I had just got my first 8-track recorder and thought, "hey, I'll do an album". I had just started programming and sequencing and so this was my version of "See Ned make his own album and play everything" king-of a thingy. It didn't come out sounding like I had heard it in my head so I spent the next 20 years learning about recording and the music biz. The next one will sound better, I promise. |

Oh, and thanks for the remarks and...I have no idea where to find a copy of that project. Danny Sneed burned me a CD from a cassette he had and I listened to it for the first time in years a few months ago. |

Mike I have the One way tape. I still listen to it from time to time. I'm with larry I wish I could have some lack luster nights. My wife just told me I have one every night. LOL. [This message was edited by bob drawbaugh on 29 July 2001 at 12:12 PM.] |

When burn cassette tapes, they emit hazardous and brain damaging fumes. I always wondered what the heck happened to you Derrell (LOL). See....music CAN be hazardous to your health! |

Fairly stock setup... I don't have the 4th pedal on the E9th even. On the C neck I do have a couple of pedals that I'm just now starting to see around a bit. the two A's raise to A# (knee) and the 1st floor pedal (traditionally raising the two A's to B's) only raises the 4th string A to a B and it raises the 7th string C to a D. It's cool.
