Keith , I hope you enjoy it....Did you read the comments after the tab on page 13 ?
Notice anything unusual about this ? http://www.waikiki-islanders.com/assets/multimedia/julessand.mp3
I'm not sure, but as far as I can find out, this is the first time this version has been tabbed "As Is" rather than an approximation.

I did, and I am going to have to go back and find all those tabs and order that CD... looks like I'll be busy for a bit! |

Thanks Baz! Since most the tab in that section is pedal steel, I rarely venture over there.
Thanks for the link and the tab! |

Jeff.. he's the man who's mentioned on the "Cumquat" site under the listing for their latest offering "A Treasury of Hawaiian Guitar Music".. Not to be missed.. Only one problem, there seems to be an error on track 13 of CD 2 !!
Bruce wrote these words
"A Treasury Of Hawaiian Guitar Music
This 2 x CD Treasury contains 38 tracks by 23 Hawaiian Steel Guitar masters... Keli'i, Aloma, Kaai, Ah See, Wairata, Henriques, Jensen and Nichols, are just a few of the legendary players that can now be enjoyed in Cumquat Digital Sound. If your ears are attuned to greatness - this is for you! " |

Mahalo nui, Baz.
I have been out of circulation for a while and just got back to the SGF.
Your post was the first one that I opened. What a pleasant surprise. Thanks for all of your efforts on behalf of us - the less exposed, the less informed.
Jeff: Who is Jules Ah See?
The answer: Barney Isaacs most favorite Hawaiian steel guitarist as told to me in the late 1980's.

Baz,
I took Jeff question as a joke also.
I thought however I would give an odd off the cuff answer to it for levity sake.
By the way, I would like to know how you are enjoying your Magnatone which you bought not too long ago on E-bay?
Aloha,
Don |
