Both Tom and Jay Dee will play church concerts while in Norway. Jay Dee will play one in Nesna on 16 August, while Tom will do his turn in Hattfjelldal on 19 August.
While these two gentlemen are primarily associated with the Bakersfield sound and country rock, they readily agreed to play these two church concerts, and this is going to be a real treat for the Norwegian steel community.
And as for the steel shows, one night will be Tom Brumley Night with Jay Dee as his guest, while the next night will be Jay Dee Maness Night with Tom visiting.
This format worked well when we had Jeff Newman and Paul Franklin over two years ago, and given Tom´s and Jay Dee´s similar background with bands like the Buckaroos and the Desert Rose Band, I think this is going to be quite a show!
