| I have always heard that there was an album recorded with these two heros of mine..can someone tell me the title of the album and possibly the titles of the songs contained in it? Bill in Vegas 112 degrees today |

Actually the album title is Minors Aloud that being the title cut and these 2 Musical Masters share writing credits for this tune. Great album if you like Jazz...These are bona-fide Jazz numbers too! Sound quality is really good too.I listen to this LP a lot...Tom Bradshaw at PSG Products still has it listed on his site...the address is available from the links block above...

I remember getting the LP and putting it on. My Mom and Dad were both home and I said that Buddy was singing this cut. Then it got to the "frustration" line. Mom said, "Oh, my" and and Dad laughed.
I'll never forget the look on her face. Like the commercial: Priceless!

I have a Lenny Breau LP calld "When Lightning Strikes...Jazz." with some uncredited steel on several of the cuts. I assume that's you Buddy.
I know you and he and Buddy Spicher did an album called "Buddies." What other (if any) recordings did you make with him? |

Yes, I was on the Lighting album and it might be the last album Lenny recorded. The different sound than I ordinarily use was from a pickup consisting of two six-string rhythm guitar pickups bridged together. I slid it under the strings and had to tape it down to keep my right hand from bumping it out of position as I played.
I guess the total albums I recorded with Lenny were four, but outside of Lightning Strikes, they have all been mentioned above. There was a taping of Danny Gatton, Lenny, and myself at the Cellar door, but I don't have a clue as to where it ended up.
When it came to music, Lenny, Danny, and John Hartford were three of the most devoted human beings I've ever had the pleasure of working with and I miss them so much.

Buddies is one of the best albums IMO.
I just love "Broken down in tiny pieces"
The song I played when I had my first broken heart. Boy, this brings back memories.
