I've owned a Bear Creek hollowneck since '97 and I've been very happy with the instrument. Mine was the first MK with wooden binding instead of plastic and I've noticed that other folks have followed suit in ordering this option. Bill builds a nice ax; what it gives up in the glassy transparancy of the originals it more than makes up for in deep, rich tone, power and stability. At least that's how I see it.
