There is a 7-string ShoBro on ebay but I am not sure whether it was a Gretsch made (worth less) of a ShoBid made (better qulaity, worth more). I have contacted the seller since the instrument has no S/N whcih would tell me a lot. |

The mounting plate for the tailpiece says Gretsch. I have one just like this but in very poor condition. This one looks pretty good.

I'm truly not joking with this question, Ric---are you saying the Gretsch is "worth less" or it is "worthless"? Was the Gretsch a decent instrument? |

A Sho-Bud Sho Bro may have a Gretsch tailpiece. |

I've played them. They sound like cardboard. Not a very high quality resonator sound. |

The Gretsch is worth less money than the Sho-Bud.
I have a 6 string Gretsch Sho-Bro. Not a particularly great sound. |
