OK everybody, here are some pics of a guitar that is on loan to me from a friend.
Fiberglass body
1 piece Aluminum neck and headstock
Spider bridge...it has a pickup on the cone-I haven't plugged it in yet.

As for the sound....It's different....the low end is rolled off, but it has great projection while it's on your lap. I mean really loud....it just seems to focus on your ears.
Overall, it's not really that much louder compared to other res's, but on your lap-wow, where's the volume control???

It sure get's the attention....

Wow, that's really something! Love the cover plate especially.
Curious about the aluminum neck because they are so subject to temperature changes. Has it been stable?
Also that's a spider bridge.
