To Sam Marshall and to ever else it may concern at the Kingdom Of Tweed. Larry? Don? look at the dedication you have. Consider doing a non pedal limited if necessary run of guitars for these people.. You will sell more than you think.

Check out all the Fender followers you folks have made. There are thousands asking for a non pedal Fender steel. You made your mark with the
Steel King..why not non pedal steel guitars?

It's got to have a different name than "Steelmaster". Herb Remington already has that name. We don't want Fender involved in another "Broadcaster" dispute, do we? But I would strongly look forward to such a guitar. Single coils of course!

I can always use one more steel - OK, put me down for a QuadNeck 22 1/4" - Custom Pearloid finish please!

I already have a Steel King on order, but as soon as I get the Pearloid QuadNeck I would have to order another one - stereo, y'know . .

And while you're at it - how about making replacement tuners?!?

Maybe you won't be able to use the FENDER name....perhaps "BUMPER" ? It would be close to the Fender

The SteelCaster! 3 Pickups, out of phase in positions 2 and 4! (probably not enough room for three pickups, eh?)

Jody
I'm glad to see your still selling Steels !
What might work out here would be a Kit - Guitar
or one that you could order complete - Single - Double - Ect,
or order the extra neck - (that I wish I had )- where I could add
the third neck to my Double . Just an Idea but it
sounds good to me - it might even make replacement parts
available to refurbish the String masters .

Keep Truck'n Old buddy if anybody can sell a Steel you can !

If Fender really wanted to sell some of these, I'd let a rock musician name the new guitar. One came up to me the other day at a gig and told me I played a really cool "slide lap thing."

I told him I'd been playing slide lap thing a long time, and he asked if it was hard. I replied "not at the moment, no."

I think they should also be made available in 10-string models in both 22½” and 24½” Scales. [at least a T–10 in 22½” for me!] Maybe in Pewter Finish also!

If it can be done there, then why can't it be done here? After all, isn't The Stringmaster (and Deluxe8 & Deluxe6) a slice of Americana????

Irregardless,
