Is there any other program that will play both the old and new RealAudio files? I need something for my new computer, and most savvy guys now say R/A is pretty invasive, as programs go. |

Media Player Classic does just that. I'll add a link when I find the download location I saved. It also plays Quicktime movies and Windows Media files.

Not to hijack the thread, but I've wanted to listen to SteelRadio, but when I click on it, RealAudio starts loading up and I hit the kill button.
I'd like an alternative way to listen to SteelRadio w/o involving RealAudio. |

Would that be this Media Player Classic?
This one says it'll play Real media but requires Real player to do it...
Media Player Classic looks just like Windows Media Player 6.4, but has many additional features. It has a built in DVD player with real-time zoom, support for AVI subtitles, QuickTime and RealVideo support (requires QuickTime and/or Real Player); built-in MPEG2/SVCD/DVD codec.
I use Real Alt for Real media:

Jim found the links before I did. That is where I downloaded my codecs and media player classic. It plays SteelRadio Playlist files (.pl) as well as .rm, .mov, etc.
