I'm using C#, E, F#, A, C#, E low to high for A6th tuning. If I bring the A up to G# will this be C#M tuning? I know how to retune three strings for C6th. Are there any other tunings that I can retune to fairly easy? Thanks, Ron

Raise the third string which is A to a B and then raise the F# to a G this will give you an A9th tuning. You can also make a few changes and convert that to a C# minor tuning and add the D for a 13th tuning. I used that on Limehouse Blues...try it

Another 1 string re-tune from A6th will give you B11th. Tune the 5th string down to D#:

E
C#
A
F#
D#
C#
A (or B...I usually keep it A)

Just lower your 2nd. str. ½-tone to C and leave the rest for a D9-Tuning. (Good for at least two-tunes¡) Byrd's Nest and Byrd's Expedition.
