I'd like to have some music or video clips available for public access . . .
I have all my other html & jpg files at Yahoo . . .
But, they do not take mp3 or avi files.
Can anyone recommend a sited that provides this type of service.

You can get a web space for a pretty low monthly rate nowadays. Some as low as $3/month. Of course, you'll probably alo want to regester a domain name. That will add a little to the cost, depending on how you do it.

My att.net account prohibits mp3 files, too. Check out wavemp3.exe. This 105K, freeware application encodes your already ripped mp3 files to an mp3 encoded wav (not a PCM encoded wav). This file retains the small size of the mp3 and plays in your default mp3 player. And with its file extension of wav you can store the file on most restricted servers. |

I have some "free space" with my server . .
But, I do not know how to access it . . .
There is a FTP ? code that must be used.
I might have the wrong acronym here.
I do have multiple domains registered that is not a problem here.

Don . . .
How would that work?
You hold it. . . .
I post a link to it . . .
When someone visiting my site clicks on the link . . .
Will their system automatically access the file using "what ever" media player that they have?
I'm a dummy
BTW . . . I would be an mpeg file.

While looking into the various video web hosting services . . .
I noticed that I might also have a copywrite problem.
I intended to put up a cover of a tune.
This whole idea might be out the window.
Unless I write an origonal tune.
But, the point that I wanted to show was that a cover "lead line" could be played on my "Pedal-Slide" guitar.
Perhaps it would be better to just do it "under the radar" by sending the video by email at request.
I did look into a FTP program . . .
I haven't figured it out yet.
Thanks,
