Need help coding html

Can someone help me with coding html? I'm trying to add some pics to my friend's new page. I have the pics in place in the images folder but my img src tags aren't working correctly. Here's the page in txt format for download. The pic displays normally when I plug in the url, just not from the tags. Thanks for any help.

Note the period (dot) after the jpg instead of " and then a space. That is probably the problem.
Try:
src="http://bluesthumpers.com/images/pic9.jpg" width="230" height="237"

Voila! I could have looked at that fifty more times and not seen that dot.
