Mele Kalikamaka and the happiest Chrismahanukwanzakah to all my steel guitar buddies!
Here's a tune I recorded last weekend. It's the Leroy Anderson Christmas classic:
Sleigh Ride
I recorded it using my 1936 Bakelite Rick tuned (CEGACE). Band In A Box provided the backup. The Rick was patched directly into my PC via the Mbox (ProTools).

Gerald-- that was a welcome shot of seasonal pizazz, thanks! Heard Dave Giegerich and the Hula Monsters do this one last Friday at their "Happy Huladays" show in Silver Spring... at their tempo it should have been called "LugeRide" --- also a very cool version.
