This is well known to the anti-spyware community as sleazeware. It uses false positives in its initial scans to fool people into buying into it to remove the infestations, which usually don't exist on your computer at all. Avoid it at all costs.

I use Ad-Aware, Spybot Search and Destroy and SpywareBlaster, all of which have free versions that work just fine at detecting, removing or preventing (SpywareBlaster) the installation of all known spyware, sleazeware, foistware, etc.
