Keith,
All storage programs don't necessiarily provide manipulation options. Does it allow cropping? If so, it probably does. Go to HELP and do a search.
Good luck!

I don't know how to eliminate the "red eyes" from photos already taken (other than "retouching"), but I do know how to keep them from appearing on any of your new photos!
When you take flash pictures of anyone, have them look at your beltbuckle instead of at the camera, and you'll never get a "red eyed" photo again! (The "red" you see in their eyes in your photos is actually blood in the capillaries of their retina, which is only visible if they look directly back at the camera. A slight off-axis gaze on their part, looking at something below the camera, i.e., the photographer's beltbuckle, instead of his camera , will eliminate this phenomenon.) Donny. That's a very good tip. I certainly will use it for next time photo ops come up.
Does it work for the morning after the night before when the New Years eve redeye is still in your eye? |

Thanks everybody for your help. The version I have of MGI PhotoSuite is an older one and doesn't have the easy red eye removal that the help folder shows. Donny, you're right about not looking at the camera, makes all the difference in the world. The help page in my version says nothing about red eye, so I'll probably have to click and drag a bit of color to fill in the spots. Didn't take long for the redeye jokes to appear did it |

When I was working on The Print Shop (version 7 or , we developed a red eye removal tool. It's still in the program, which is now up to version 15. It works pretty well - it basically removes any red tint from a small circular area.

I use Ulead PhotoImpact 8 as a photo editor, and it has a really effective, easy to use, red-eye eliminator built in. |

I just loaded MGI Photo suite 4 on my comeputter at work. Among the buttons is one that says take the red out. Most of the pics at work are of machinery and they don't have red eyes. Maybe I'll have to take my own picture in the morning and try it then.
I'll probably load it at home as well. Plenty of family pics with the problem.
For scientific study only, gotta go make sure I have some red eyes in the morning. |
