I would like to backup my mail inbox and address book in Netscape 7.0. Does anyone know where these file are located? I haven’t been able to find them.

Thanks for the response. I could find the files you suggested in my previous versions of Nestscape, but just can’t find the files with the new dates in the new version. Are you using 7.0?

Hey, sorry about the delay! I just got done moving and had to get new I-Net access...
Well, yesterday I had 7.1 (pretty sure) and this morning it's 4.71; I got sideways with the W98SE registry during a bunch of unsuccessful attempts at fixing a "new hardware" issue. This dastardly registry seemed to think it got the best of me. Indeed, I was on the ropes until I asked of it...can you spell "Boot to Startup Disk, A > \Format C /s, enter...?"
So much for that argument!
Anyhow, I had installed NS 7x over 4.7, which is probably why my 7x directory tree looked goofy...it seemed to bounce back & forth between the old & new versions.
Did you try using NS online help? I would think your question should be addressed at the FAQ level.
Sorry, I would send you a jpeg screen shot of that C:\ProgramFiles\Netscape tree, but now it's history. Good luck.
At least we don't have to load windows in order to play music (yet)!
