I can't seem to find any way to COMPLETELY
delete/remove any song that I have added to
the GoldWave software. The closest I've gotten is doing away with the sound [ie. mute], but the song/graph still remains.

Jack?, anyone?, have any answers here on this one. Thanks all.

Chip, if you open a song in GoldWave, you have to close it before opening another, otherwise the 1st song you opened will still be displayed. Is this what's happening??

Chip, if you mean you see a list of recently opened files when you click on "File", and you have deleted them from the hard drive you can disregard them. Many programs have a list like that of recently opened files. Some have options to specify how many "recent" files are shown and other's don't. There's no way to get rid of the recent files in most programs. If you have deleted a file that is shown in the list, just ignore it and eventually it will go away, as you open more files.

If that file list bothers you, uninstall Goldwave and then reinstall it and the files will be gone.
