I went into "Folder Options" and deleted a file that was opened by wav player, and now I'm not able to open anything up from wav player. It appears I can send things out via wav player, and use the sound recorder all right, but I can't use it to open a wav file. If this makes sense, could anybody help me?

I sounds like you deleted a "file association" for .wav files. You will have to go back into where you deleted the file association and establish a new category for the .wav files and associate it with the wav player you want to use. The help files will give you information on how to do that if you can't figure it out.

Jack:
Could you not just open Windows Media Player or Winamp or whatever and in the preferences area choose to associate .wav files with that player??

Graham, probably could. Didn't think about that but then I wasn't sure what "wav player" he was referring to.

BTW, Ollie Strong (and his wife) are back down here for a month again with Rod (Ron?) Snow. We got to swap licks at a jam show last Tuesday. Ollie is supposed to stop by again this coming Tuesday.

Jack:
I've never met Ollie in person but am only familiar with his playing thru an old album he did back in the '60's called "Sleepwalk".
Was talking to Eddie fulawka a couple weeks back and he said Ollie was up to his place with a couple other Canadian steelers and they had a great jam session. I also understand he is going to be putting on a workshop at Al Briscoe's "Steel Guitars of Canada" but I don't know the date he will be there. I am going to the one tomorrow with Bob Taillefer doing the teaching. Looking forward to it and I think one with Ollie would be great too.
