Subject: Antigen found JS/Kak@m.Worm virus
"Antigen for Exchange found Unknown infected with JS/Kak@m.Worm virus. The file is currently Deleted. The message, "++++++=", was sent from joe delaronde and was discovered in IMC Queues\Inbound located at psl/montreal/MAILHOST."
I checked my "sent box", and there were no messages sent from my computer during the time mentioned because my wife and I were shopping.
What does this mean? Am I virused?
Joe

It would appear you have the kak worm. Go to the McAfee site and they have info on how to manually remove it.
You probably got it by allowing an Active X file to run in an e-mail message or you opened an attachment that had the Active X file in it. http://vil.mcafee.com/dispVirus.asp?virus_k=10509& |

After my crash I forgot to install the virus prog. Anyway, installed it and it done the fix, but only quaranteened the beast. Seems it can't be removed.
What does this virus actually do?
