Some cool shots of rarely seen or heard Hawaiian steelers that had the goods in a time when everybody was good, and the competition stiff.

Those of you who are aware of Jack Detoro will know he played probably the sweetest steel guitar of his era, back in the forties. His tone and touch was just awesome. He was without any doubt, the best steel player Johnny Pineapple ever used during his career.
