Super nice looking guitar. I have never seen that piece of hardware that attaches the pickup before. But there's plenty of things I have never seen before. Anybody familiar with that bracket?

That's a nice looking guitar, but I've never seen a bracket on the tailpiece like that before.

I can only guess that these homemade pieces were put on for some kind of strap arrangement. The owner passed away so I can't ask him, and his wife has no idea.

There was a Ric Steel tailpiece that facilitated a whammy bar! I am not sure but I think this tailpiece is one with stabilizing plates to lock out the tremelo mechanism.

Here's a couple of pics of the Rick vibrato on a B6.
