Is there such a freeware beast? I know they're not foolproof, but maybe it would have prevented the following by a moderator: finaly, portain, telavised, and websight. And those are just from the subject headings, folks. |

Lets let it die in grace.

Bill's right. Everyone spells a word wrong now and then. But some really got P.O'd over the the thread about poor spelling. |

Generally we get the idea of the post though the spelling of some words may be incorrect. Still, I'd rather have the spelling correct and not be thought of as igorant. |

Bill: I didn't get to fight in that war. Did the forces of illiteracy win?
Jack: Surprised to see you coming down on the side of the misspellers. You strike me as a man of efficiency and discipline; a do-things-right, by God kind of guy.
At any rate, I just wondered if there was a tool someone might quietly send the moderator in question.

Jeff, I am one of the minority that came in on the side of trying to spell it right.
The sad fact is schools do not teach spelling or emphasize it like they used to. I see a lot of words spelled the way they sound rather than spelled properly.
The old argument about "I wasn't hired to spell" isn't really valid.
I'm going to be a bad guy and close this post as it's really not related to computers and before it snowballs.
