What is the difference between the S1 and T1 user presets. To me, a user preset is a user preset is a user preset. I don't plan on changing the key root on my E9, I just want to store tunings similar to but slightly different to the Jeff Newman presets for several steel guitars. |

I just leared today the S stands for Steel. If you play steel it should be set on SE-9 in right hand corner of the tuner. I got this from the tech dept. at Peterson. Nice folks! |

The "S" presets are "sweetened" (internal compensation). The "T" are not compensated. They are discussed in the users manual.
If you use your own settings, use the T memories so there is no internal compenstation for the settings. |

Hi Guys,
You can use either T or S programmable settings, the differences between the two don't appear unless you adjust Key, Root or Base Note parameters.

I am wondering on the Petersen Stroboflip. If it is programmed for C6 can just the root be changed to E so it will all be in E6 then.?...al
