My Nashville 400's have served me well over the years. But now they're getting a little long in the tooth, and between finicky molex connectors and busted solder joints, not very dependable.

How do the Peavey 112's compare? They've been out a couple years, any issues?

thanks,
Drew

I think they're as high a quality as the other Peavey amps when they were new...that is to say, excellent and very reliable. Be aware though, that the 112 is 80 watts, compared to the 400's 210 watts.

For small to medium sized rooms they're great. But for larger venues you'll need 2. Especially if you're used to, and need, the 400's capabilities.

I'd suggest maybe sending the chassis off to Peavey for a once over. Their prices are very reasonable, and it'll be like new when you get it back. Just include a note explaining what you want them to do.
