Does the Revelation Preamp come with effects? The Website does not say anything about this. I have a Peavey 1000 and I guess I would just plug it in the Power-In input? Thanks in advance for any info. I am saving my gig money for one.

No, there are no effects built into the Revelation amp, except for a very good set of tone controls (EQ), and a variable input impedance control that is something like changing pickups.
I plug it into the power amp input in the back of my Peavey amp, and it sounds great. |

Rick,
The Rev does have an effects loop on the back designed for line-level effects units. The Rev sends a mono signal to the effects unit, and then receives a stereo return from the effects unit. From that point on to the Rev's outputs, the preamp is stereo. It seems that the most popular effects units with the Rev are the TC and Lexicon units.
The front loop on the Rev is instrument level and is where the volume pedal and any guitar pedals would go.
Thanks,
Brad

Brad, I emailed you Monday of this week about purchasing one of your pre-amps. I had a couple questions but have not received an answer. My email address is available through this post if you did not receive mine.
thanks,
Billy Tam
