I asked the question on a previous post. What size pots did Gibson use on the BR9 lap steel. After a dozen E mail inquires to different sources (to no avail) and much research, I found the answer to my question.
For those interested:... Gibson used 500K pots on the volume and tone, with a .02mfd
capicitor. Gibson used 500k pots up to 1973 when they started using 300k pots to make their guitars sound more beefier. On some guitars they used 300K on the volume and 100k on the tone. Any additional info to this subject would be highly appreciated. Lee
